Busy Busy Busy

As the title suggest, we've been quite busy around here. We have been setting up at craft fairs, having open houses in our home and adding new products to our line up. Please check back often as I am going to try to be more consistent with my postings. Also if you "like" us on Facebook you will always be up to date with what is happening here with The Tribe. Don't forget to stop by our website to see all of our new products here.

Women's Night Out

We are getting ready for Women's Night Out, a night of stress free shopping. We will be setting up at Municiple Center in Grafton from 7 - 10 pm on Friday October 22nd. This is going to be a fun event filled with lots of other local women in business.
Some of the things we will have available is our linen and room sprays, sugar scrubs, herbal heating pads and boo-boo ice.

Additionally we will be making some dessert and appetizer samples to do a sort of soft launch of our "Let us do the Cooking" program. This program involves me coming to your house assembling dinners and putting them in the fridge or freezer for you to use during the week. This allows you to have a home cooked meal without having to do all the prep work after a long day of work. I will do all the slicing and dicing and marinating for you so you'll be able to enjoy more time with your family.

We are looking forward to seeing you all at Women's Night Out!

Sew cute

My daughter has grown so much since last summer that only a few items will still fit her this year. Since the sun has now decided to grace us I figured it would be the perfect time to start filling her closet. She loves to wear dresses, so what better than a cute sundress. This dress was so easy to make and I can guarantee it will get more than it's share of use this spring/summer.

The Tribe's holiday creations

The Tribe has been busy this holiday season. We have created gifts for teachers, friends, family and each other.

My favorite thing definitely has to be the superhero capes we made. The little boys have barely taken them off!

For teacher gifts we made some some soaps, bath salts, and bath fizzies and packaged them all up in cute little boxes.

Last week we tried our hands at dreamcatchers, this week we are going to start on headbands.

We are looking forward to a fabulous holiday season. We are preparing all of our things to go crafting crazy. We will be making holiday gifts to give as well as gifts for sale.

Below are some of the patterns our Herbal hot/cold packs are available in, our headbands will also be available in these patterns.

Some of our Stuff

These are just a few of the things we make. I'll add more photos as I take them along with some information about our creations.

Below is an Herbal Hot/Cold Pack, Lip balm in white 1/4 oz pots, sample size Lip balms, Bath Salts although admittedly the picture is not very good and a Jeans purse.

We generally do not tint our Lip Balms, so you will see they are the natural beeswax color, these are sealed with shrink bands. We try to tint Bath salts with a color that corresponds to the scent that has been chosen and they are packaged in a salt tube and a shrink band is added at the cap. The Herbal Hot/Cold packs come in different patterns and also in two sizes, the one pictured here and a hand sized one perfect for keeping hands warm while waiting for the bus, or cold to make boo boos feel better. One of my favorites is the Jeans purse, it is simply a pair of jeans sewn into a purse with a lining added and I use either a coordinating belt or fabric for the shoulder strap.
